SCFMA Announces 1998 Apollo Award Nominees High Point

In preparation for the International Casual Furniture Market in Chicago, the Summer and Casual Furniture Manufacturers Association (SCFMA) announces nominees for the 39th Annual Apollo Award. The Apollo Award will be presented at the awards banquet on September 19, 1998 during the International Casual Furniture Market. The nominees for the 1998 Apollo Award are: California Backyard, Sacramento, CA; Casual Marketplace, Hockessin, DE; Christy Sports, Lakewood, CO; Fishbeck's, Pasadena, CA; Four Seasons Fireplace & Patio, Lancaster, PA; Inside-Out Shop, Dallas, TX; Robb & Stuckey, Ft. Myers, FL; Seasonal Concepts, Plymouth, MN; Texas Patios, Fort Worth, TX and Treasure Island, Mahwah, NJ The Apollo Award is presented annually to the retailer best representing excellence in retailing summer and casual furniture. Members of SCFMA judge retailers based on sales, business growth, creativity in advertising and marketing and promotional activities. The grand winner receives a trophy portraying the Sun God Apollo.
