Kimball Home will soon enjoy a greater presence on the West Coast ... literally, Thanks to the growth of its product lines, the residential furniture manufacturer will occupy two showroom spaces at the July 1998 San Francisco Summer Market. Kimball Home will be located in Spaces 1162 and 1171 of the San Francisco Mart. These spaces, which face each other across a hallway, are approximately 18 feet apart, Together, the showrooms encompass nearly 4,000 square feet. According to Sales and Marketing Director Robert Cribbs, Kimball Home was fortunate to acquire the two spaces, as a single showroom of adequate size was not available. "We want to emphasize the product diversity within Kimball Home," Cribbs asserts, "Occupying two showrooms is a natural way to accomplish that. This new location reflects our growth and our progress on both coasts. We are truly a company on the move-we've made tremendous strides just since the Winter Market!" Kimball Home is the residential arm of Jasper, Indiana's Kimball International (the number one manufacturer of wood office furniture as well as a leading producer of hospitality and healthcare furniture). Since April of 1997, Kimball Home has launched four solid wood dining room, bedroom and occasional collections: Cherry Falls, Oak Meadow, Pine Mountain and Maple Creek. A fifth group, Café Gardens, offers wrought-steel-and-wood casual dining items finished to complement the solid wood collections. Key items from the Kimball Home line will be displayed in the San Francisco showroom, many designs appearing for the first time on the West Coast, Traditions, an older 18th century bedroom group available in cherry, oak and pecan, will also be shown. July will be only the second San Francisco Market in which Kimball Home has exhibited solo. Previously, its updated traditional styles shared showroom space with furniture from other Kimball International divisions. "We are excited about our new locations in San Francisco," Cribbs remarks. "This move brings us one step closer to our goal of becoming a leader in the residential furniture industry." For more information contact Kimball at rcribbs@kimball.com
