Carpet One Appoints Bart Levich Vice-President Of Residential Broadloom

Sandy Mishkin, President of Carpet One announced the appointment of Bart Levich as the new Vice-President Of Residential Broadloom for Carpet One. Mr. Levich will be the executive in charge of product development, merchandising, and purchasing of all residential broadloom for nearly 1000 Carpet One stores. Mr. Levich was previously the Vice-President Of Merchandising for Shaw Industries' corporate-owned retail stores. Prior to that, he held executive positions at New York Carpet World and Nebraska Furniture Mart. "Bart brings a highly successful track record to this influential position at Carpet One," said Mishkin. "His creativity and experience are sure to enhance our industry-leading carpet program, contributing to increasing the sales and profitability of every member," he noted. Mr. Levich was born in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in the family retail furniture, appliance, and floor covering business. He is a graduate of Morningside College. Mr. Levich, his wife, and youngest son will reside in the Atlanta area. Carpet One is North America's largest carpet retailer with over 1,000 retail stores. Carpet One members also operate stores in Australia and Guam. Carpet One stores carry a full line of quality carpet, area rugs, and flooring.
