GHFA Announces Level One Design Training Program

The Georgia Home Furnishings Association is pleased to present Level One Design Training, a sales oriented design training program, which will be held in April in Atlanta. The program will be conducted by Cathey Manley, a renowned educator in the home furnishings industry. Cathey is President of Cathey Manley & Associates (CMA), a consulting firm based in Rochester, New York. CMA specializes in the training of sales and design personnel. The two day program will take place April 1 & 2, 1998 at the Sumner Suites Gwinnett- Duluth, Georgia. Level One Design Training covers the fundamentals of basic design for those who have no formal design education or experience. This hands on" seminar will result in an immediate increase in sales by introducing the participants to elementary drafting and floor planning, basic design theory, fabrics, fibers, historical styles, lighting and accessories. The fees for the two day program are $249 per person for GHFA members and $299 per person for non-GHFA members. The fee includes all handouts, materials, coffee breaks, and lunch on day one. The deadline for registrations will be March 25, 1998. You will definitely want to take advantage of Cathey Manley's expertise in sales and design training in the home furnishings industry.
