Victims of the recent tornadoes in central Florida are finally able to get a good night's sleep thanks to Sealy. The company donated mattresses to the victims in Orlando and surrounding communities. Three-hundred pieces were donated to the Salvation Army to be distributed to those in need. Beds donated Included twin, full, queen and king sizes. The effort was coordinated through Sealy's Orlando plant. "As the local plant, we saw the damage first hand. We are glad to have the Opportunity to help where we can because many of us have families and friends that were affected by these storms," says Gerry Szostak, controller of the Orlando plant "Sealy has 250 employees at our Orlando plant. That's 250 families in the community. We thought that this was a good opportunity to give something back to the community, especially at a time of need, " says David McIlquham, Sealy Vice President of Marketing.
