Hooker Furniture Wins National Telly Award With Lance Benefield:

Lance Benefield & Co., Inc. WORLDWIDE, has won a national Telly Award for advertising excellence on behalf of it's client, Hooker Furniture Co., Martinsville, VA, for their television commercial presentation titled "Hooker Furniture Television System". Containing five television commercials for their dealier's use, the system was created for the internationally famous furniture company as part of their continuing marketing communications program. All of the commercials featured Home Office furniture in lifestyle environments. The senior producer of the commercials was Paula J. Snyder, Senior VP of the firm. Hollywood, CA, award winner Sean Hanish, directed the commercials. Sharon Peppers was the post production Supervisor and Steven Banks was line producer. Filmed entirely on location in the Hooker Furniture showroom in High Point, NC, the commercials stressed the adaptability of the home office in the family's home environment. Each commercial featured a diffferent working condition for each of the adult talents. Several of the commercials stressed the working woman and her role as a mother and provider. The Telly Awards recognize outstanding television commercials. This year, judges viewed over 9,500 pieces of work. They are professionals within advertising from all regions of the United States. This marked the thrity-third (33rd) national Telly Award for Lance Benefield and it's Executive Producer, Lance G. Hanish.
