Minster Interiors, Oriental Weavers Of America Open Canadian Showroom

Oriental Weavers of America and Minster Interiors, Inc. announced the grand opening of their new showroom, located inside The International Centre at 6900 Airport Rd. in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The Minster Interior offices have also moved into the showroom. Hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The official opening of the showroom, found on Hall 6 in Suite 6B, was held November 22, 2000. Representatives from both companies were on hand to present more than 300 area rugs ranging in color, quality and pattern. "The grand opening was a huge success," said Steve Stultz, vice president of sales and marketing for Oriental Weavers of America. "The showroom is beautifully designed." "The opening of this beautiful showroom now provides our Canadian retailers with a very professional venue to view the entire Oriental Weavers of America area rug program," said Pat O’Farrell, vice president of sales and marketing for Minster Interiors. The agreement, formed in October as part of a long-term plan to expand OWA’s global business in Canada, named Minster Interiors Inc. the sole distributor of OWA productss in Canada. Minster is now servicing all market segments including department stores, mass merchants, home centers, carpet and furniture stores and independent retailers. Staffed with a team of experienced sales representatives, Minster Interiors Inc. is stocking, servicing and providing solid nationwide coverage to all Canadian retailers.
