Dial-A-Mattress announced the launch of their website MATTRESS.com. The company known for fast, friendly service won an award for American Retail Excellence sponsored by American Express. The new website is another reason why Dial-A-Mattress is one of the few recommended sources for mattresses from the Better Business Bureau. New Eve Media (www.neweve.com), a Web design and development firm handling the launch, provided customers visiting the site with additional customer service options including integration with a telephone callback option. Mattress.com has become an online store/showroom with multiple personalized options, including a customizable user account area where users can track their orders or view previous purchases. The site offers a "virtual showroom" that allows you to see the mattresses, and features an extensive educational section of valuable information on sleep and mattress care. Mattress.com was the first major mattress retailer to take its business online and to offer ordering from its store locations, by phone and via the Web. The address mattress.com is not new but the new site represents completely new design, functionality and focus. Dial-A-Mattress President Napoleon "Nap" Barragan said the redesign is part of the company's commitment to customer service. "The redesign will allow us to deliver improved and even more personalized service to our customers," said Barragan." Paul Massell of NEM, said redesigning the site was a challenge, but one that New Eve Media was more than equipped to handle. "Our task was to develop an online 'superstore' and mattress showroom which is targeted to become the recognized online leader in mattress and bedding product selection and customer service," Massell said. "We faced the challenge of providing not only a new Web site, but a better way to facilitate product distribution via the many Dial-A-Mattress stores." The new Web site is designed to secure the continued loyalty of Mattress.com customers and attract new loyal customers. The site will generate revenue from product sales, and will also provide informational content and personalized information, such as a Bedding Selector, to help customers make bedding and purchasing decisions.
