Brueners Home Furnishings Corp. is expanding its 16-store Good's division with two new additions under construction in Jenkintown, Penn., and Atlantic City, N.J. The stores will open this summer and represent the first ground-up construction for the company. "We are committed to growing our brand not only by acquisition, but by building now stores as well," said Joe Reddington, chairman and CEO of BHFC. "At BHFC, we are working to establish a standard of excellence in furniture retailing that will be communicated in all our stores. These new Good's stores speak in a meaningful way to the female consumer. The interiors reflect a design that has been tested with women over two years and will provide our shoppers with an enjoyable shopping environment." The stores are 55,000-plus sq. ft. with au open and bright atmosphere that provides greater focus on the furniture, According to Reddington the stores reflect a customer-friendly design. "Movable walls provide more flexibility and allow us to showcase interiors that emphasize what customers see in magazines," said Reddington. "Our design will categorize the furniture in the style our research groups told us they prefer - one that is fun and exciting, and makes the selection process easy for the consumer." Reddington said the stores will carry an impressive selection of merchandise in all categories. More home accents can be displayed throughout the interior design allowing customers to discover accessories throughout the store. Breuners Home Furnishings Corporation operates 50 stores under various brands throughout Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania in the Northeast, and in California on the West Coast, The rive BHFC store brand names include Huffman Koos, Breuners, Wayside, Good's and ArnoIds.
