Sunset Trading Announces a NEW National Program

Gary P. Stanieich, President of GPS Furniture International, announced a National Program for Sunset Trading. Sunset Trading is the import division of GPS, featuring youth bedrooms, dining rooms, master bedrooms and accent pieces from around the world. This specific program will feature mainstream youth bedroom styles at competitive price points sold nationwide by a knowledgeable and experienced sales staff and will be stocked regionally in Boston, North Carolina and Los Angeles, or may be purchased by the container. According to Harry Leighton, VP of Sales, "We are very proud to introduce this program at the San Francisco Furniture Mart. This will be our first time to exhibit here in July. Our space, # 610, Mart 2, will showcase what we believe to be the best in youth bedroom furniture." The main focus of this program is the development of a co-venture with an experienced youth factory in China. Harry added, "Now that we have a partnership with this factory, products will be designed and manufactured exclusively for us." GPS Furniture acquired Sunset Trading in 1998 and since then has become one of the Northeast’s largest importers of home furniture.
