American Society of Furniture Designers Honors Vladimir Kagan

The American Society of Furniture Designers will honor Vladimir Kagan of The Vladimir Kagan Design Group with its Lifetime Achievement Award during the Spring International Home Furnishings Market next month. Kagan, a long-time member of ASFD and an internationally acclaimed furniture designer, will be honored for his many contributions to the furniture industry at a dinner on Saturday, April 8 at the High Point Women's Club. With a career that spans more than 50 years in the furniture industry, Kagan has helped to define modern furniture. Over the years, he has worked with most of the preeminent builders of contemporary and modern furniture including Directional, Preview, the Giorgio Collection, Club House Italia and American Leather. In addition, his sculptured chairs and cabinets can be found in countless museum collections around the world.
