Moosehead Honors Sales Leaders

Moosehead Manufacturing Company, a Maine-based furniture producer, recently honored its top sales representatives at a ceremony in High Point. Sales and marketing manager, Russ Page, presented an award to Jay and Skip Link (Massachusetts) for being the company's top producers in 1997. Peter Gilissen (Virginia and West Virginia) was recognized for having had the greatest percentage of increase in 1997 ... over 717 percent. Those inducted into this years Million Dollar-Plus club included Ed Anderson (Ohio), Mike Gawell (E. Pennsylvania, S. New Jersey & Delaware), David Horan (Connecticut & Rhode Island), Jay and Skip Link (Massachusetts) and Don Macumber (Vermont, New Hampshire & S. Maine). For outstanding sales achievement at the April market David and Millie Mulder won the company's coveted Moose of the Market Award. Moosehead is a solid wood manufacturer of bedroom, dining room, occasional, infant and youth furniture. The company has two plants in Maine's Piscataquis County and employs about 250.
