TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF BUILDERS ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF SUNBELT BUILDERS SHOW

The Texas Association of Builders announced today that it will launch a new event called the Sunbelt Builders Show. Produced by Miller Freeman, Inc.'s Dallas-based Building Group, the event will be held in San Antonio, Texas, July 12-14, 2001. "Our Association has worked diligently to put a planning committee together for this event," stated Ted Schlossman, Chairman of the Show Committee for the Texas Association of Builders. "Our focus has always been to serve the legislative and educational needs of home building professionals. With the Sunbelt Builders Show, we now have a forum to address each of these issues one-on-one with not only our current members, but all industry personnel." Show Management anticipates the event to accommodate approximately 400 booths and attract 2,500 attendees its first year. This annual event will give building professionals the opportunity to see products first-hand on the exposition floor, expand their knowledge base through an in-depth conference program and reward peers at an industry awards program. "This is the only show of its kind specifically targeted to the home building professional in the Southwest market of the United States," added Todd Davis, Miller Freeman's Building Group Vice President.
