Hilco Merchant Resources announced that store closing sales began on Saturday, June 4, at all four American Furniture, Electronics and Appliances stores in the St-Louis Area. Prices have been significantly reduced on over $22 million dollars worth of famous brand furniture and mattresses, home and personal electronics and major appliances.

According to an article in the St. Louis Business Journal http://bit.ly/k94xwN, "American first entered the St. Louis market in October 2004. After the closing sales wrap in several weeks, American will have 11 remaining stores in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin."

The Hilco release noted that every item and every brand is on sale with no exclusions or exceptions.

Discounts of up to 40% off original prices are beingoffered storewide, including, "famous brand furniture for every room, mattresses, HD and LCD TVs, Blu-Ray and DVD players, MP3 players, computers, digital cameras, camcorders, home and car audio equipment, washers, dryers, refrigerators and other home appliances. All manufacturers’ warranties are in full effect."

Cory Lipoff, a principal of Hilco Merchant Resources, stated, “This is an outstanding opportunity for consumers in the area to save on a broad selection of brand names in furniture, home entertainment equipment, major appliances and more. Shoppers will find these stores very well stocked. Savings on every item plus a great selection will make for a very short sale. Consumers should not miss this exceptional opportunity for savings at a time when value is so important to so many people.”
